2009 UC San Diego Data Mining Contest

The winners have been identified; check the results tab for information. Also, we have reopened the site for continued participation.

How to Compete:

  1. Register your team.
  2. Download the training data.
  3. Train a system to predict the target information about the test data.
You can use any technique you like, such as artificial neural networks,
support vector machines, or k-nearest neighbors classifiers.
Here are some resources to help you get started. And don't forget about
the contest forum as a source of discussion.
  4. Once you have built your system, you can submit answers for a "quiz set"
and see your scores reflected immediately on the Leaderboard.
